My Spring Holiday Plans
Every year in Taiwan, there are several different holidays. This year, from April 3rd through April 6th, we have our Spring Break holiday. During this holiday, my family typically will stay at home, and on holidays, such as Qingming Festival, will go to sweep the graves. Other people like to stay at home and rest. This year, my plans are as follows.
On the first day of the spring holiday, I’m not going to go anywhere. I will first review the things I have learned this week, and since the exam is coming up, I also need to review what I learned before to avoid doing poorly on the midterm.
On the second day, I'm going to go to ancestral graves located near Tunghai University. While I’m there, I plan to clean up the area around the graves, after all, weeds must have grown since it’s been a year, then start paying respects to the ancestors. The first time I came here, I didn't know where this place was. It was only when the elders showed me around that I found out.
Then, on the third day: Still reviewing homework at home, might play some games on the computer out of boredom, or go out to eat with family, or go shopping.
In conclusion, I basically stay at home, after all, midterm exams are coming up, but since it concerns the ancestors, I will still take a day off to pay respects.
